This Training Handbook is a tool that managers and supervisors can use to create a customized performance improvement plan for every employee.

Contents include 29 behaviors that lead to effective training, 29 results of effective training, and examples of ways to link each behavior to each result. Useful examples demonstrate ways to use the linking process to conduct performance discussions, prepare performance improvement plans (PIP), prepare individual development plans (IDP), and reinforce training.
